BUILT FROM EXPERIENCE

Built around the realities of contracting.

Our founder, Eric Oberembt, knew the challenge firsthand: materials spread across the warehouse, trucks, and job sites, with no clear picture of what was available, what each job used, or what it actually cost.

That experience became the starting point for InventoryHQ. Eric defined the problem and what the solution needed to do, then worked with a development team to build it. His experience in contracting shaped the requirements, and the development team translated those requirements into the software.

Today, InventoryHQ helps specialty trade contractors track materials across locations, record usage and returns, and understand actual material costs by job. It gives the office and field a shared view of where materials are going and how they affect each job’s bottom line.

The problems that came before the software.

01

Buying what was already there

Materials were on the shelves and trucks, but without a reliable count, it was easy to order more than the business needed.

02

Losing track of movement

Materials went to jobs and unused supplies came back. Without a consistent record, it was hard to know what was used and what remained.

03

Understanding costs too late

Without material usage tied to each job, it was difficult to compare actual costs with estimates while the details were still fresh.

Run it like a business.

Set clear expectations. Keep consistent records. Follow through with your team.
